MASALA FESTIVAL 2010 in Hannover

 
 

In India, the word ‘masala’ means spice, spices or a mixture/blend of spices. Spices are used to give taste and flavour to recipes which we enjoy. The word was borrowed by a team in Hannover, Germany 15 years ago to initiate a festival of world music named ‘Masala Festival’. Since then, music artists from around the globe have performed in Hannover attracting hundreds of visitors.

This year, the major concerts of the festival will take place from the 5th till 16th of May 2010 including the following musicians:
